Emergency Information

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE / EMERGENCIES:
To report any major emergency within the Convention Center, dial x8975 from any house phone, or call (714) 765-8975 from your cellphone. If you dial 911 to report an emergency, please then call (714) 765-8975 so the control center can coordinate with emergency personnel to get them to the proper location as quickly as possible. Inside the exhibit hall, you can identify your location by the number at the top of the nearest column. Convention Center security and emergency personnel will coordinate with any appropriate local agencies such as the police or fire departments. Please have as much information concerning the emergency (location, landmarks, gender, and nature of the emergency). For any non-life threatening emergencies, stop by the First Aid office in the main lobby of the Convention Center. AEDs are located in the back of the halls between Halls B and C, and between Halls C and D as well as near the first aid station in the lobby outside of Hall B.

FIRE ALARMS / EARTHQUAKES:
If the fire alarm is triggered, you will hear horns and see flashing strobe devices followed by an announcement. Please move to the nearest emergency exit and follow instructions given by Convention Center personnel. Do not use elevators or escalators during an evacuation. In the case of an earthquake, remain calm and be aware of your surroundings to look for objects that might fall on you. If possible, seek shelter under a table, desk or doorway and “Duck, Cover and Hold.” Listen for security announcements for instructions as an evacuation may not be necessary.
