Get Involved!

Nominate an Emerging Leader:
Identify the high potential staff at your company and nominate them to attend AWEA WINDPOWER 2016. Emerging leaders must be first time attendees to WINDPOWER and are intended to be up-and-coming industry leaders and rising stars. There are limited emerging leader spots available so we encourage you to act quickly to ensure your brightest next generation staff secure a spot early to participate.   Learn more >

Volunteer as a Mentor:
If you have worked in wind energy for some time and have experience and knowledge that would benefit those newer to the industry, you’d make a great mentor!  The only requirements are that you attend WINDPOWER 2016, provide some biographical information to be shared with Emerging Leaders, and participate in a couple of on-site activities. Email
conference@awea.org to indicate your interest in serving as a mentor.

Support the Next Generation:

Please join Blattner Energy (Next Generation of Wind sponsor)
GE Renewable Energy (KidWind Sponsor) and Siemens (Emerging Leaders Sponsor) by supporting these important initiatives. With a contribution of $5000 or $3500, you can help create a great experience for the next generation of wind leaders.

Please contact Brent Nussbaum at bnussbaum@awea.org or (202) 383-2542 to register your support and learn more.
