Discounted registration rates end March 9, 2009.
After April 24, you may no longer register via fax or mail and will need to register on-line or on-site at the McCormick Place Convention Center.
Convention Center Registration Hours:
Sunday, May 3: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday, May 4: 7:00 am - 8:30 pm Tuesday, May 5: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 6: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Thursday, May 7: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Registration Confirmations:
- On-line registration: all on-line registrations will be immediately confirmed via email if an email address is provided. You are able to enter a second email for a duplicate copy of the registration confirmation on the payment screen of the on-line registration system.
- Fax or mail registrations: all fax or mail registrations received before April 24 will be confirmed via email upon receipt if an email address is provided.
- Registrations that do not provide an email address will NOT be sent a confirmation.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions: All requests for refunds must be submitted to AWEA in writing by mail, fax or email. Refunds may not be processed until after the close of the conference. Registration fees are non-transferable to another AWEA event.
- Requests received by March 9 - receive a full refund less $75 administrative fee
- Requests received by April 22 - receive a full refund less $150 administrative fee
- No refunds will be made for cancellations received after April 22 or no-shows
Substitutions will be processed on a complimentary basis. Simply email the full contact information for the new attendee along with the name of the attendee they are replacing to conference@awea.org
Registration Changes: Email conference@awea.org with a full description of the change requested.
Registration Materials: Attendee badges and materials may be picked up at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Badges and materials will not be mailed in advance.
Dietary Restrictions / Disabilities / Special Requests: If you need special accommodations or have specific dietary needs or allergies, please indicate those items when you register on-line or on the fax / mail registration form. Or contact Stefanie Brown at sbrown@awea.org as early as possible to ensure we have enough time to arrange for your needs. All catered functions will provide vegetarian options.
Conference Attire: The attire for WINDPOWER 2009 is a mix of business casual and business professional.
