A Greener Conference
The American Wind Energy Association recognizes that organizing events, especially the size of the WINDPOWER Conference, can ultimately result in a lot of negative impacts on the environment. That's why we work each year to implement new environmentally-friendly practices for the show. While there's always more than can be done, we wanted to share at least a summary of some of the activities we are undertaking for WINDPOWER 2008.
But, we can't do it alone! As an attendee or exhibitor at WINDPOWER 2008, we need your help! See below for a list of ways you can partner with AWEA to make this our most environmentally-friendly conference yet.
We also want to make sure that you know about some of our partners' green initiatives as well including the City of Houston, the George R. Brown Convention Center, our Conference Hotels, and our show decorator Champion Exposition Services.
