Outdoor Equipment and Demo Area
New this year, WINDPOWER will feature its first ever Outdoor Equipment and Demonstration Area. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase large equipment, heavy machinery, turbine parts, cranes, trucks, trailers, and anything else that qualifies. Companies can also perform live demonstrations, giving attendees the opportunity to see the most recent technologies, techniques, services, and equipment in action.
Location:
The Outdoor Equipment and Demonstration area will be located in the parking lot of the Dallas Convention Center. It is a ground level parking lot, just to the north of Hall C (near the Lower Level exhibit hall), between Lamar and Griffin Street. Click here to view the location.
Requirements:
In order to purchase outdoor exhibit space, the exhibitor MUST be able to prove to AWEA that they are displaying legitimate large equipment or running a live demonstration. All exhibits must be approved by AWEA. Sharing an exhibit booth is not permitted without prior approval. Please see Rules and Regulations for additional requirements.
Book your booth:
To book a booth, please fill out the Application for Space form and email it to emoulin@awea.org. Before booking, please make sure to read in detail the entire Rules and Regulations document; this has very important details regarding anchoring, height restrictions, floor plan submissions, etc.
Booth space is limited, and is available on a first come, first serve basis. No floor plan is available, as exhibit placement is subject to change. Exhibitors will be assigned to the next best location based upon the order that payment is received (subject to special needs, preferences, and compatibility of other exhibitors).
Cost of Exhibit Space
$16/sq ft for booths 400 to 1,400 sq ft in size ($18 after February 2nd)
$14/sq ft for booths 1,600 to 4,000 sq ft in size ($16 after February 2nd)
There is a minimum booth size of 400 sq ft
There is a maximum booth size of 4,000 sq ft (100x40)
Booth space can only be purchased in intervals of 200 sq ft
*Exhibitor must be at least a Corporate 1 Level Member of AWEA
Exhibit Space
Furniture, labor, drayage, signs, and other booth furnishings may be ordered at standard rates from the official show decorator. Electricity and other services may be obtained by completing the appropriate application enclosed in the exhibitor kit.
Outdoor Exhibition Dates & Hours
The outdoor exhibit area will be open the same hours as the inside exhibit area, with one exception: an early opening at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 23rd.

Admission to Outdoor Exhibition
A pass for the indoor exhibit hall or a full conference pass is required to access the Equipment and Demonstration area.
