Speaker Requirements
Primary Author/Presenter Responsibilities:
All the primary authors must agree to the following:
Podium presenters - Submit your presentation by Monday, April 26, 2010 - WINDPOWER is a paper-"less" conference. Presentations will be available online before, during, and after the conference for attendees to download or print.
Poster presenters - Submit an electronic copy of your poster by Monday, April 26, 2010. All posters will be printed by AWEA.
All presenters -
Register for the conference at the special presenter discount rate (2009 speaker full conference fee was $650, but this is subject to change.) Only the primary authors will receive this presenter discount. Please notify your co-authors that they are not qualified for the presenter discount and need to register as regular attendees.
Submit a final paper to be included in the conference proceedings by Monday, May 10, 2010. Required for technical AND scientific presentations, optional for others.
Assist AWEA in marketing the conference (for example, sending out an email to your clients or colleagues informing them of your participation).
Notify AWEA of any changes, additions or corrections in presenter, presentation title, or availability to give a presentation at the appointed date and time.
Abstract Submission Agreement Terms
Below are the terms agreed upon when entering the Abstract Submission page:
- I will be required to pay a discounted registration fee for the conference, simply to cover expenses of food, conference materials, etc. (2009 full conference fee was $650, but is subject to change.)
- I will meet all deadlines to be determined by AWEA for submitting materials
- I will help AWEA market my participation in the conference to personal colleagues and contacts
- I will notify AWEA in writing no less than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled conference, if I am unable to fulfill my speaking commitment for any reason.
Failure to meet these requirements will jeopardize your participation as a presenter at any future AWEA programs.
