See below for information on Chicago airports, parking information for the McCormick Place Convention Center, and driving directions to the McCormick Place Convention Center.

There are two commercial airports servicing Chicago, Illinois:

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the largest passenger airport in the Chicago area and is served by numerous airlines in 5 terminals.  Located 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, the commute time takes approximately 30 - 45 minutes.  For more information on the O'Hare Intercontinental Airport, visit http://www.flychicago.com/OHare/OhareHomepage.shtm

Several ground transportation options from ORD are available including:

     Airport Shuttles: The Airport Express shuttle service provides transportation to downtown Chicago at a service
     fee. This shuttle service accesses both O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport. For more information

     provided by Coach USA Wisconsin, Continental Airport Express, and Omega Airport Shuttle.  For more

     Train:  Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) -- The rapid transit train between downtown (Dearborn Street subway)
     and O'Hare takes just 40 minutes and costs only $1.50. Follow overhead signs that read "Trains to the City" to
     the CTA station between Terminals 2 and 3 (Blue Line). New $5 CTA Visitor Pass gives you unlimited

     Taxis:  Taxicabs are available on a first come, first serve basis from the lower level curbfront of all terminals.
     Shared ride service is available. There are no flat rates because all taxicabs run on meters. Expect to spend
     approximately $35 to $40 for a taxicab ride to downtown Chicago.

     Rental Cars:  All 7 rental car companies operating at ORD (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and
     National) are located on the lower level near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Please look for
     signs and courtesy phones. From Terminal 5, rental car agencies are available by courtesy telephones
     located on the lower level.

Midway International Airport (MDW) is Chicago's second largest airport and is located six miles closer than O'Hare to downtown.  For more information, visit http://www.flychicago.com/Midway/MidwayHomepage.shtm

Parking at the McCormick Place Convention Center:

Driving Directions to McCormick Place Convention Center:

FROM MIDWAY AIRPORT OR THE SOUTHWEST:
Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs.

FROM SOUTH OR INDIANA VIA I-80/ I-94:
From I-80/94, exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan
Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit
#293D) and follow signs.

FROM INDIANA-SKYWAY:
Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway), which turns into the Chicago Skyway. Merge onto I-90/94 West
(Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive
(Exit #293D) and follow signs.

FROM NORTH LAKE SHORE DRIVE (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Street and turn right (west). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive and
follow signs.

FROM SOUTH LAKE SHORE DRIVE (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Street and turn left (west). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive and
follow signs.

FROM CONGRESS PARKWAY:
From Congress Parkway, turn right onto Michigan Avenue. Proceed south to Cermak Road (East 22nd
Street). Turn left on Cermak Road. Then turn right immediately onto Prairie Avenue and follow signs.
Lakeside Center and Arie Crown Theater (Lot C)

FROM O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NORTHWEST OR THE NORTH:
Follow I-190 East to I-90 East. This turns into I-90/94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the
right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) onto US 41 South (Lake Shore Drive). Exit at 31st
Street and turn left over Lake Shore Drive to Ft. Dearborn Drive. Turn left and follow signs to Lot C.

FROM THE WEST:
Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow
I-55, North (Stevenson Expressway) onto US-41 South (Lake Shore Drive). Exit at 31st Street and turn
left over Lake Shore Drive bridge to Ft. Dearborn Drive. Turn left and follow signs.
